Word For The Day, Tuesday February, 18, 2014
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
illation [ih-ley-shuhn]

1. the act of inferring.
2. an inference; conclusion.
[152535; < Late Latin illātiōn- (stem of illātiō ) a carrying in, equivalent to Latin illāt ( us ) suppletive past participle of inferre to bring in, bear in ( il- il-1 + lātus brought, earlier *tlātus; see tolerate) + -iōn- -ion ]
el ramo [RAH-moh]
-n
bouquet
En la puerta había un ramo de rosas rojas.
By the door was a bouquet of red roses.
2 hour delay today, but a lot better than I thought it might be. It’s already above freezing and we’re heading up to 40 today.
titillation: the art of inferring that a woman who went from 32AA to 36DD probably had implants.
Ugh. In training today.
Since we are in training, I’m gonna assuming we is a gonna get illated and illuminated.
I bow to your superior punage for today...
But I’ll be back!
only got an inch overnight, but it’s going up to 50 today and will be in the upper 50s all week. 59 by friday. hopefully the snow will melt. the snow pack was hard enough that chan can skitter along on top of it, but i am betting after today she is going to be getting stuck as she falls through. Mr. Fox was out and about in the front yard across the street, yesterday, visible from the study window, and those two went INSANE.
The snow got too deep for my doggie last weekend. Now he’s relieving himself on the shoveled edge of the driveway.
My son shoveled long paths through the side yard and circling the picnic table so that our dog can run. Buffy can run to her heart’s content. She has discovered that the snow is hard and she can climb on top of it, too. Her fur has come in thick for winter and she doesn’t seem to even get cold.
Snowing steady here.
they have been going on the front walk, but they are obsessed with the far front corner of the yard. don’t know if that’s where the fox frequents or what, but that’s where they bee-line to when they are let out. she has kept looking down there for the past week or so and lately figured out she could get there by walking on top of the hard snow.

Host Bob Schieffer asked Shepherd whether the recent spate of storms that have hit the East Coast was the result of “things that are happening here on earth.”
OMG it was so depressing and bleak up there. At least we have sun here even when it’s cold. I said to my husband, this is why we cannot ever live there, it’s just awful! and he agreed, but said that he liked to look around and see everyone wearing SU stuff and supporting his team. NOT ENOUGH reason to live there, that’s for damn sure! we went to the Wegmans in DeWitt which is very nice, to get stuff for xsboy. I also got some SU pasta and the Otto cheesecurls, for my colleague who is married to the Gtown fan to serve at home!
What a total crock.
It’s a dang blasted snowy bleak 28 here. Depressing as hell. Globull warming is bunk. Twist it any way you want, cold is COLD....not warm.
You can’t deny that they are, indeed, happening here on earth.
And not on Mars, for example.
You could pretty much tell from the granny mullet.
I would imagine a fox would drive them nuts! lol
True.
