The Iranian clergy has revived Salman Rushdies death fatwa 25 years after it was issued over his blasphemous Satanic Verses.
On February 14, 1989, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini called on all Muslims to murder the award-winning author and anyone involved in the publication of his work.
This Friday, senior cleric Ahmad Khatami reminded worshipers at the Tehran Friday prayer that the historical fatwa is as fresh as ever. He added that even if Rushdie repents, it will not affect the sentence.

War with Islam...logical, improves world IQ, and inevitable.
Special treatment for Imams is advised...we want it long, slow, and very very....bad.

In today’s media they would have given the muzzies his location and waited there with cameras for a story.

The ALA (American Library Ass.) should put a copy of the Satanic Verses on the same shelf as the koran next time Banned Book Week rolls around.

Boston University Caves to Islamic Supremacist Demands
Creeping Sharia [blog] ^ | Feb 14, 2014

I work at a university library in Boston, Mass., and books are shelved according to the Dewey Decimal System, not by title or importance. Muslim students (most of them from abroad) told administrators that they were offended because the Koran wasnt given a place of honor on a top shelf, as dictated by Islamic law and custom.
Library staff were then ordered to shift entire sections of books in the stacks so that the Koran could be honored appropriately.

In 1984, when she was 14 years old, Lakshmi was hospitalized for two weeks, eventually diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, which is caused by hypersensitivity to an infection or certain kinds of medications. Two days after discharge from the hospital, she was in a car accident in Malibu, California, causing an injury to her right arm that required surgery, which left a 7-inch scar between her elbow and shoulder. The incident took place on a Sunday afternoon as Lakshmi was being driven home from a Hindu temple in Malibu, where her mother had taken her to give thanks for the healing.[5] She remembers a flash of orange, looking over to see the large car upon her. Padma describes the event in the April 2001 edition of Vogue, saying, “Being in a car crash was like an exhilarating hallucination, an unbelievable moment that oddly remains one of the most beautiful images in my memory.”[12] The accident also left Lakshmi with a fractured right hip and a shattered upper right arm.
