FWIW Carol already confessed to that unless she is covering up for someone.
I know she did, and I initially thought/hoped she WAS covering for Lizzie, then I changed my mind. But after last night I'm back where I started.
Carol mentioned that she saw the prison battle, so something made her come back in spite of her banishment. I wonder if she decided to come clean about the real killer.
Just speculation, probably not worth much, LOL.
I think she covered for the little girl......
