Discipline means to teach, hence, disciple - and the rod referenced is a shepherd’s crook, a device used to guide, not punish. No good shepherd would strike that which he is trying to guide and teach, especially with the tool that is the symbol of love and protection.

Sweden is heading towards a big crisis. Feminist extremists are in power, all men are evil and women all saints. At the same time there are already these African/Muslim tribal enclaves with archaic attitudes demanding free money to flow forever. Sweden could be a failed state within 10 years.
