Bitcoin isn't the problem. The internet itself has proven far more effective for those who seek such stupidity, and used to great extent even before bitcoin was invented. Do you wish to ban the internet as well? Everything and everyone has their good and bad side.
The real problem is with a world that doesn't follow the Almighty's commandments. Maybe that is related in part to restrictions as well; such as restricting God in our schools, courts, government, and institutions of higher learning.
At least for now, we haven't seen any reports of abortion clinics taking Bitcoin. But then, why should they when they can depend upon your tax dollars to help fund the murder of 1.3 million babies a year.

As always,Errant, you make good points.
Even if I(and I do not)and the Feds, would wish to ban the internet, that cannot be done now.
Can I buy stocks directly with bitcoin? Since anonymous contributions to politicians is now feasible, I would think so as they are both commodities, in the main.
Can I, in theory, exchange my bitcoin in dollars to bitcoin in renminbis? What I am trying to ask, if I sell my tulips to someone, can I get paid in bitcoin that I could instantly(more or less)convert to Renminbis, or perhaps, Hong Kong dollars?

Wow! I am pondering the implications of your observation.
