The dress first lady Michelle Obama wore at last night's state dinner was the topic of discussion last night on CNN:
One guest thought the cost of the dress was close to $10,000.
"Well, first of all, I love the dress on her because I think it's so elegant and so simple. I mean, that shape is what we call the princess shape. It's got that sort of poof at the bottom that's very sort of billowy at the same time. It's strapless. I think we want to call that French blue, maybe," said a guest.

Perhaps they’ll let her wear it to the gallows.
12 grand for a dress yet her hubby talks about “Income Inequality” perhaps Obama needs to spread his wealth around see how he likes it..oh yeah I forgot, rich libs don’t consider themselves “Rich”
OMG....ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
The dress is gorgeous. I think the moose is lucky she’s tall because she doesn’t have much more than that going for her. Herrera and all the stylists did a good job making her look decent.
Well it is a lot of fabric....
Took a tent to cover that lard @$$ of hers.
her posture is appalling...
There was enough material in that dress to make a circus tent.
the color had to do with France... so i read... i also read that Michelle added the black velvet belt to the dress... she should have left well enough alone...
I remember MSM go foaming at the mouth rabid when Mrs. Reagan wore designer dresses (for State Occasions) free from the big designers. Now, not a word.
i do not think we paid for it... i highly doubt anybody paid for it...
It must be nice for the Obama’s to be members of the 1%./Sarcasm
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
$12.00 would be a rip off!!!
When she hauls @$$ it takes two trips.
Another masterpiece by Omar the tent maker! Bravo!
Eeew. I hadn’t seen that view. I liked it in the side view, where it looked like it was an ordinary full skirt.
Her entrance to the ballroom was preceded by loud flapping and rustling noise, along with the metal taps on her flat black shoes.
I saw a shot of her walking and apparently there was a voluminous over skirt over a much slimmer skirt. With just the slimmer skirt the dress would have been quite elegant. Too bad. I could only tell in that one pic.
