Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say ‘hi!’ Feel free to join us!
Funny you should mention Q/Rs “schedule.” Initially, when Quinn started tweeting, he was EARLY...like his radio show time of day. Now ...not so much. He tweets but it’s random times (usually much later in morning or during the Rush Show). And, lolz, I’m NOT A stalker...the time stamp is on each Tweet.

Maybe when Q&R come back it will be in a later daypart. Shame...having the morning show to listen to was great.
Knarf isn’t that gas well fire down your way? We’ll probably never hear the end of that. Quinn’s thoughts on the fire would have been valuable to use against the anti frackers.

They're not eating, so you can't poison them, and they're not mating, so you can't screw around with their glands ...
They're in a sort'a walking hibernation.
Best I can tell ... they're Asian and have been here about 25 years

It's always scarey when a well blows up, but it will be determined to be operator error.
I was a sand can driver (dry bulk sand tanker) to the frackers and I can tell you the safeties on the entire gas operation are phenominal.
Whatever happened will be operator error of some kind.

Bingo on the sleep! You’re nailing me! Can’t make plans because like you say you get a few minutes warning then it’s down and out!
If you do manage to stay up you aren’t on all cylinders and then when you do try to sleep you can’t.
If I can make it through the summer I’ll quit, take retirement and find a day job!
Most of Atlanta is definitely closed. The Republican Gov declared an emergency for a ton of counties and obama one-upped him by declaring the whole state an emergency. They have crew from other states in and ready to go. Power lines in some places are already down because of the ice and we’re expecting wind gusts of about 30mph later today which will be toppling trees and taking more down. I was downsized 2 years ago and hubby works from home, so(unless the power goes out) we’ll be here.
I've been up since around 1AM, at first to tend the fire, but once I'm up .. I'm up ... but it's now time to go down

Interesting observation. After nearly three decades on the morning shift. Quinn would take quite a bit of time to re-adjust his body clock to a later slot.
They no doubt came from Chicago with that other bunch who are nesting in DC.
