That's true. Also, the technology. Having grown up with everything to fast-paced and high-tech, many of them have no ability to stop and smell the roses, to appreciate the little things in life.

Overall, the total lack of charm, the total lack of class that is so prevalent today must have a detrimental effect on people, especially those with no other perspective. Everything is so vulgar and cheap today. Back in the good old days things moved slower, society as a whole was just a bit more delicate, people in general appreciated family and togetherness and public decency more than they do today. Today's youth view life as a rat-race to nowhere, and they want to get as much sex and cheap thrills as possible before they are euthanized. What a brave new world we have here...Ugh.
