I, among many others, used to debate politics with loughner on an internet message board for years. No doubt about it, the guy was an extremist, radical leftist.
He used to post on the board daily. His avatar was a pic of himself with a full head of hair and his screen name was his first name, “jared”. Then unexpectedly he stopped his daily postings about a day or two before the shooting. After the shooting, when the name of the shooter was revealed to be jared loughner, those of us on the board wondered if that jared and the jared on our board were one and the same person. It was. The board administrators wasted no time in deleting his account.
