Every time I see nonsense like this, I think of my brother-in-law Chuck, who is black, remarking plaintively at a picnic, “You know, the thing is, I really like fried chicken and watermelon!”
And yes, I was delighted when “one married my sister”. Best guy she ever knew.

Doesn’t this school realize there is a right not to be offended? Especially offending those that live to be offended is most egregious.

My wife saw a guy in a “soul food” joint on the Food Network cooking turnip greens. He mixed them with collard greens. She cooked some last night and it was the best I’ve ever had! Had some cornbread with it, too.
All I can remember from that movie, was the “fight” scene between Denise Richards and that black chick.
I have a great idea. How about we stop having any so-called history month relating to some special group or another? How come we don’t have American History month?

Sounds like a great meal to me.....something my grandma would have fixed. In fact she did! We ate this stuff all the time.
We have El Pollo Loco here and their chicken is 100% better than KFC. Cheaper too if you buy their deals or use coupons.
