If it had been a hot, young guy in a thong it would have been better-but it’s creepy because it looks like a dead guy in the snow. Naked+snow=dead if you’re out in it.
Now a statue of Luke Skywalker in his underwear called ‘Skywalker’ would be ENTIRELY different! But a mostly naked, eyes closed, realistic statue of anyone outside in dangerous weather has to be creepy.
Of course the lesbian students would be ‘threatened’ by it either way.

They look like walking dead...zombies. I think that’s what the artist is going for, and he nailed it. Fabulous realism, but disturbing because of it.

Yanno... whether or not this is good art, whether or not this is funny or sad or creepy... I wouldn't have it in my yard.
I might put it in a gallery as part of a show, but for private display at home? No.
Which is to say I think it's reasonable that some of the students want it gone.

Well, not just walking around, no. But when I do the “underwear dance”...

The guy has talent, but a quick Google search shows he’s got a bit of a disturbed mind. These two are the least creepy of his art.

at least this statue avoids the problem of Michaelangelo’s David (not being circumcised)
or perhaps that’s what the girls are complaining about?
To: rightwingintelligentsia
That is pretty creepy looking, but sort of funny in the snow in just his tighty-whiteys!
I *could* see this scaring the heck out of a person if you stumbled upon it at night, I will say that.

There you go! Thank you. But wouldn’t you think that, with the current love of all things un-dead/zombies/vampires, this kind of thing would be a cult favorite. Maybe it’s the lack of blood, fangs, etc.

Ok...who do I sue for the unauthorized use of my likeness? Not only that but I have had a number of dreams involving school and work that are just like this minus me sleep walking. This guy has tapped into my nightmares.

Yes, women are as mentally strong as men. They can take or do anything. But they’re also easily-terrified, little wimps who get hysterical about a statue. Which is it radical feminists?
