In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

neologize \ nee-OL-uh-jahyz \ , verb
1. to make or use new words or create new meanings for existing words.
2. to devise or accept new religious doctrines.

Example sentences:
Scientists at Northwestern University, inspired by the faux pundit’s ability to neologize, created a set of nouns for “Colbertian,” which they could use to test the effects of bilingualism.
-- Amina Khan, “Bilingualism: Stephen Colbert's 'truthiness' inspires a language,” The Los Angeles Times, 2012

In the meanwhile, necessity obliges us to neologize.
-- Thomas Jefferson, “To John Waldo,” 1813, Jefferson: Political Writings , 1999

Etymology:
Neologize joins the Greek neo meaning "new" with a variant on –logy , a combining form derived from the Greek logos meaning "word, speech, discourse, reason." This verb entered English in the early 1800s.

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Crazy low population Appalachian Hooters knockoff.

No doubt.

One girl tending bar. Black, so hooray diversity. And one other girl, white red hair, working the tables.

No, but you are more likely to find hospitality. And you did.

I was deliberately providing an extreme example of intolerance, because liberals never know where to stop-look at NY... I’m able to be tolerant even of them, as long as they pay on time, and I don’t have to be around them after work-a paying customer is a paying customer.

If I spend hard earned money to go out, I will deal with pretty much anything but whining, running kids, or adults who act like they are at a sports bar-I really value a pleasant meal in a semi-quiet surrounding...

I don’t watch the show, but I saw her before and after pictures on Fox-I don’t see anything amiss-one size does not fit all, and she appears to have a small frame, and be somewhat athletic. If this weight is a natural thing for her, she will keep it with normal activity and healthy diet only-no extreme stuff.

The last time my BMI was at 18, I was pregnant-and I come from a slender, small boned family. My normal weight is 108-110, I wear a size 5-maybe a 4 in a dress, and I don’t do anything special to maintain it-I do eat mostly veggies and fruit-and fish, some lean meat, I don’t like sweets, and like most of my relatives, I do not use any drugs-only natural remedies, vitamins, etc. I’m not bony, I am wiry and strong for my size from years of physical work and hiking. Many active or athletic people are lightweights-runners, etc. We are all different-but that girl weighing over 200 at age 24 is not natural in any way...

I think if you had seen her during the show you might see what others are seeing. She was a competitive swimmer in her youth - looked great and fit. She was muscular, as many athletes are. She had ballooned to over 260 so the 105 weight was not a natural weight for her. (I'm guessing during her swimming days she was at around 125-130. This season, most of the contestants had gotten down to good weights before the final show on the ranch (that's where they do the 12 weeks or so of big weight losses then they go home for another 3 months) - Ok - she looked incredible that last show. She was slim and I really wanted her to win so I felt she couldn't lose enough to make a difference against a 406 pound man who was already close to half of his highest body weight.

When she stepped out onto the finale stage even the trainers were stunned! Her face was gaunt - that was the first thing I noticed. I've watched this show since the very beginning and have never seen anyone look like her! Her upper arms looked much like the craggy photo of Madonna that was going around - with the spaces between bone and muscle - just not at all what this show was about, which is fitness. You have never been a heavy woman so 105 or 108 is your normal size, I do not think 105 is normal for this athletic girl. Maybe if you had seen her moving - rather than just a photo. Or if you had seen her three months ago and how she looked then - it might alter your opinion
