Police should need a search warrant to even step foot on someone’s property. The dog belonged there. The cop did not.

So you are saying a police officer chasing a murderer, raper, robber must stop when said bad guy runs into someones backyard or across someone’s lawn, or even runs into some innocent persons home. . or maybe the bad guys home?

I'm thinking it is a bit more complicated than merely saying “Police should need a search warrant to even step foot on someone’s property”
