Wow! We sound like strippers compared! Of course this was New Orleans-in the 60’s. We did havea-line grey wool skirts tho and blazers,over white cotton blouses, which we wore in September.Now September is so hot we would pass out in wool blazers and skirts. Also-no air conditioning then!
I burned those hated uniforms at the end of senior year. Still can’t look at saddle oxfords.

We didn’t have a summer uniform until I was about 10..

We wore the thick woolen tunic all year around until then..

It was hot in the summer..

but in primary/elementary school we used to take our socks and shoes off and run bare feet at “playtime” (recess) and lunchtime...(No Miss Archer as yet) LOL
