A celebration of america becoming a third world nation. That’s what I saw.

They went from wanting to teach the world to sing to embracing the global community. We are all one world now and Coke is the official drink. I expect that they will soon be emblazing their bottles with the 0bami logo any day now.

I used to like Coke, but now it is Pepsi . . . at least they set Michael Jackson’s hair on fire . . .

. I don’t drink soda but I bought it for my grown daughter. She will now drink Pepsi.

So much to unpack. (1) Why do you buy soda for a grown daughter? (2) With what earthly power are you able to determine her soda consumption habits?

I have an issue with you voting - since you seem to have had difficulty understanding plain English. At least when my daughter is not quite sure of something said, she questions further and seeks to discuss the issue - not make snap decisions and condemn others.................

Offensive. What are we the United Nations of America?

I know! Fortunately, our ancestors weren't immigrants!

Not a fan of the ad, nor of Asiatic and Latin hordes polluting our nation.

Jawohl! Now since when did FreeRepublic become StormFront?

Most bottled drinks, including water and sports drinks, are bottled by either Coca Cola or Pepsi. Maybe try SodaStream?

I drink Hansen's all natural drinks

Exactly what was said at my dinner table - our 15yo couldn't quite grasp what her father and my problem with it was.

I have a problem with English? You are the one that posted that your daughter couldn't quite grasp the issue. You did not say she was questioning/discussing...you are the one that made a snap decision that I was condemning you or your daughter or both. I did not mean it that way. Due to children being exposed to so much indoctrination, not being taught history at school, etc. all conservatives need to homeschool their children on occasion. I did not mean anything other than that by my comment. It would be none of my business one way or another how your daughter felt about it other than she will soon be eligible to vote.

2nd. The lyric God shed His grace on thee was very prominent, perfectly clear, and in this day and age subversive.

Don’t go away, though. I just realized you are a translator, the most unappreciated, unsung heroes of publishing. You can bet your last quarter that whenever anyone says they love a foreign author, the person they love without realizing it is the translator.

As for the substance of your post, I could care less about the speaking of Spanish, or any other language, instead of English, or anything else about the culture differences. If the person loves America, I don’t care if they came here yesterday. Not in favor of lawbreaking in any form but that wasn’t your point.

That does sound a bit silly — ME — buying soda for a grown daughter. But I’ll explain in a private note tomorrow. It will make sense then.

Only reason I drank Coke was because a friend worked for the Woodruff’s.

Now I’ll go back to Pepsi. I had every Pepsi bottler and distributor in Oklahoma and N.E. Texas as customers, years ago and I’m loyal to customers.

Same thing with Ford.

Had Fruit of the Loom til they moved Operations to Hechi in Mexico.

I’ve had enough of so called Mexican Americans.

For the last week I’ve embraced the 1/164th % of my Cherokee and Bkack Foot heritage.

“Mexicans were here 1st huh? The American Indian was here before them.

I’m part Native American and you don’t see me trying to give America back to a bunch-uh incompetent blanket butts.

You sure as hell ain’t getting 1st crack at reconquista”.

I’ll go with your version.

I didn’t pay attention to the game after 1/2 time and missed the commercial.
