Closest approach is 14APR2014.
UFO reports always increase when Mars is closest to Earth for some weird reason.

Betelgeuse is the reddish star near the center .... Got to wonder if Betelgeuse still exists as a star, real time, at its location approx 650 lightyears away.

One of the worst things about living in the big city is that you can’t see many stars.
Can’t turn out those streetlights though, crime would double.
