Sorry, but no. Punishment needs to be official. The rule of law should not be circumvented, even for tough cases.
We went to see Lone Survivor. No way he could’ve watched that live. Thank God they won!
Ok.....the good thing about basketball..is it’s a game 2 can play.
Yes, I would much prefer to be playing Spades.
AZ Lost to Cal, SU beat Cal so SU is #1. We will see how long that lasts, they play ND on Mon. Hey Ti, did you know Tyler Ennis, the freshman point guard played 35 min despite having the flu. Was puking all day and they had an iv in him at the half.
LOL, kinda like Jordan’s game against Utah,, in the 1997 finals.
I think I see xsboy!
LMAO!! xshub has watched it no fewer than THREE times. It’s in OT on espn, started at 7 am.
Racist. ROR!
Huh? Have I confused you with someone else? I thought you made fun of March Madness and college bball - I thought xs and ti going on about Syracuse would get a comment out of you
No, not really. He sounded perfectly educated normal to me. He even said “a whole other” and not “a whole nother.”
I could send you clips of Yinzers on the news describing house fires and crimes with much more accent.
This guy sounded just like any local tv reporter.
You can sound educated and like a yinzer! You can’t hear it bc you live there but even Paula who still has a very strong accent heard it.
She asked me the other day if I remembered this one guy from HS (diff guy) I recalled the name but couldn’t picture him. She’s on FB so she sees these HS peeps there. She sent phone pix of both the yearbook and their current pix on FB. Anyway, the one guy started a words with friends game with her in mid Jan. He hadn’t played for a few days and then she saw on FB that he DIED last week. How sad that was to hear that people I graduated with are dropping.
Everyone has an accent, but that was not “strong”’ by any stretch.
Oh ok.
I had plans for a long hike today, even though was chilly and cloudy this AM with sprinkles off and on-but the wind really picked up a couple hours ago-so now it is 35, with blow-you-over gusts of wind driving sprinkles and frigid air into your face from the NW-not pleasant hiking weather, especially not near the nice, cold river. I love to be in the woods, but not with cold rain and wind in my face-I’m settling down with a favorite book instead-I have fresh spinach and fresh frozen salmon to fix for dinner-and I’m looking through the DirecTV offerings for a good movie or some such later on to avoid the biggest narcissist contest between O’Reilly and Obama...
It was hot here yesterday, 42 and cold right now - wet with just a bit of wind, nothing like you are getting
Downton Abbey is on Sunday nights. I am going to watch last week’s episode now since I was at book club last week.
