I had plans for a long hike today, even though was chilly and cloudy this AM with sprinkles off and on-but the wind really picked up a couple hours ago-so now it is 35, with blow-you-over gusts of wind driving sprinkles and frigid air into your face from the NW-not pleasant hiking weather, especially not near the nice, cold river. I love to be in the woods, but not with cold rain and wind in my face-I’m settling down with a favorite book instead-I have fresh spinach and fresh frozen salmon to fix for dinner-and I’m looking through the DirecTV offerings for a good movie or some such later on to avoid the biggest narcissist contest between O’Reilly and Obama...

Haha - you are right, that interview will be a contest of "me me me" on both sides!

It was hot here yesterday, 42 and cold right now - wet with just a bit of wind, nothing like you are getting

Downton Abbey is on Sunday nights. I am going to watch last week’s episode now since I was at book club last week.

Woo-hoo, the team with the most Aggies won tonight! That’s how we decide who to root for if it isn’t one of our favorite teams. The only commercial that I thought was a big thumbs-down was the This Land is Your Land, being sung in different languages. It went against the whole idea of being a melting pot and all of us being of one country. And Budweiser could not go wrong with puppies and horses, always a winner. Although the Dobehua was hilarious too.
