Some years ago a bank robber sued the Oakland CA police for defaming and ridiculing him when they arrested him. It seems when he robbed the bank he stuffed the loot down the front of his pants including the explosive dye pack.

The pack not only contained dye but used an M80 like explosive which detonated in his groin area. Needless to say when the money was recovered the robber came up “short” and the police were laughing and commenting on his “situation” The suit went nowhere. Stupid is as stupid does.
