I think the errors in proper Spanish are a regional thing-the Spanish version of a Texas accent, y’all...

I like the ocean now and then, too-as long as I don’t have to get into the saltwater or on the sand...

I often am, but not in this case. I will say you had a tremendous grasp of English as a second language. ;-)

Looks good.

I like the beach every couple of years or so. But wouldn’t want it all the time. Especially when hurricane season comes!

Xs fiance’s family has a beach house in ocean city NJ, has had it for years. It was damaged during sandy but not too terribly. I like an ocean vacation but need something else to do while there. We like kiawah SC bc charleston is drive- able etc. Hawaii is wonderful bc there’s tons to see and do as well as the beach.

Though I’ve gotta say, it’s cheaper to go to Europe than Hawaii and its a shorter flight.

That sounds good! I"m "creating" tonight as well - if it turns out good I will send the recipe.

I made homemade kettlecorn last night - much easier than I expected and really good

There was a Marie Callender Cafe classic froz meal which I loved that this tastes very close to. This was just excellent.

I browned chicken breasts in a little olive oil, seasoned with cajun for my husband and montreal seasoning for me. Placed them into a deep baking dish and put chopped fresh tomatoes (one large and a handful of grape tomatoes sliced in half into the hot pan I had browned the meat in. I also had some fresh sliced mushrooms and added about a cup... I let that just cook a bit then added about a cup of chicken broth and poured all of that over the chicken in the pan and baked until the thickest portion reached 170 degrees.

In another pan I cooked about three cups of sliced mushrooms in 1/4 cup butter until they were cooked - then added two tablespoons of flour and a 1/2 cup of chicken broth and stirred until the sauce thickened. Season with salt/pepper and served it over the baked chicken. It was really good, and really didn't need the mushroom sauce - would be good alone.

But its mushrooms thst give meaning to life. The girls don’t like them (we call them fungi, which is the word in Italian for mushrooms) but xs fiancé does so he and I get to split the fungi between us.
Your dish sounds delicious!

St Ronnie just got home from school right before 8:00 pm - After being released at 1:30 early because of the Atlanta area snow. That was for a usual 20 minute, 10 mile drive.

Everything’s still blocked up all across the region. Some 200 kids are still at the schools in Marietta GA, more elsewhere and a few thousands (nobody knows) in school buses on the roads - can’t get up the hill in front of them, can’t get up the hill behind, can’t turn around anyway because cars are blocked in on all sides not anywhere anyway.

And that is exactly why this are closed schools today - not that the storm was that bad but they didn’t want the liability in case....and no bus driver wants to be stuck in some of those houston neighborhoods!!!

I have to wonder why they didn’t cancel school in the first place. In Washington they do at a hint of it in the forecast and y’all are a lot farther south.

Nice.

I prefer Montreal as well. I probably have 3 jars of it, bc when I cook beef, I don’t want to get home, and be without it.

Even in Winter, i like to do the mushrooms on the grill...like you just said, i’ll slice them, wrap in foil throw in the butter...I will def need to try it your way.

If i can get it right with the chicken, I’ll give it a roll with my fave Beef recipe.
It would be cool to have a counterpoint, as a dip to the horseradish sauce.

Thank you for sharing!

I, too, like Montreal steak seasoning. Or the spicy version.

She may have been talking about Montreal chicken seasoning, which I imagine is a little different.

I never fear running out of the Chicken style. Because I am the only one that buys it, and I rarely cook chicken.

Just takes a flashlight and a long arm to find the jar.
