Anyone who rides a motorcycle will tell you that there’s nothing like the thrill of riding headlong on the open road with the wind in your face and worries at your back. A motorcycle is truly one of man’s best friends. But what if someone changed the formula — a formula, mind you, that’s been relatively unchanged for a over a hundred years.

Chris Hoffmann may just be that man, and his one-wheeled RYNO motorcycle may be the next great invention in the motorcycle world.

Ok, I’ve been riding motorcycles for 50 years this year, Harley’s, old Triumph’s, most others.

This is insane. A motorcycle isn’t half as stable as a car, even less in a quick avoidance maneuver.

This thing not only could not stop quickly - as a motorcycle can - it is inherently unstable in virtually all conditions. You could see this thing and its rider fighting to maintain its position. No way this thing could quickly maneuver to avoid an obstacle or accident.

Ok, they proved a point that this could be done. That’s it.

Other than being a novelty, there’s no future for this contraption.

Remember how the Segway was going to change the world? How’s that working out?

Next to snow skiing on real mountains, motorcycles are the max fun you can have with your clothes on for the average man/woman. And will be until we have safe, personal flying machines.........
