It’s not all bad: Rubio managed to blow his own self out of the water in terms of Presidential Politics. His desire to vastly expand the Rat party won’t go unnoticed.

How about a direct recall vote of the entire country?

How long would Ted Kennedy have lasted if the rest of the country had the power to override the baby-killing voters of Massachusetts?

I can hardly recall when I voted FOR a candidate instead of lesser of two evils.

Maybe Reagan.

I must be going insane — voting for lesser, and still getting the SAME result.

I appreciate your comment to decide NOW.

If I had voted ‘purist’ in the last XXX elections, what difference would it have made, anyway? Not in the candidate, but maybe in the message. Note that 4 million are blamed for (allegedly) getting us bo instead of Romney.

Sorry but I don’t understand. Please explain your premise, please.

It does not matter who you vote for, Soros is still pulling the strings.

Contrary to what one intuitively suspects, McCain actually has a lifetime American Conservative Union Congressional voting rating of 82.84%. The problem with McCain is less his voting record than his surly attitude toward conservatives and coziness with the Democrats and the news media.

McCain is a frustrating paradox. Fiercely loyal to the country and a vexation to his captors during the North Viet Nam war, McCain is politically unreliable and disloyal to the GOP and conservatives. Indeed, even in his own cause, McCain's fighting spirit and ability to resist Democrats is questionable due to his extraordinarily limp 2008 campaign and inability to articulate a clear and persuasive line of attack against Obama.

The bottom line: McCain has genuine virtues that should not be denied, but his weaknesses should lead to his replacement with a reliable and politically capable conservative.

Not shocked. I live in AZ and know too well what he’s up to.

The Dem ain’t worse when McCain votes with dems and slams what I believe in on a regular basis. HE is worse.

Certainly McCain is bad but he votes with us once in a while. A dim will never vote for America, ever. There are no good Dims, none. So I must respectfully disagree that McCain is worse.

A Dem will ALWAYS work against your interests. McCain you never know. Since a Dem will always work against you, you know it going in and can plan for it. Their actions are utterly reliable. I hate it, but I respect it.

McCain? How many times has he been Mr. Conservative up until the vote came down then torpedoed us? Pretty much always when it matters most. Then he goes off and votes with us on some minor thing he later points to about how conservative he is “See? I voted with you!” sort of thing.

I would side with Alexander Hamilton who preferred the enemy be in the opposing camp to ours.

No need really. He’ll likely defect as soon as the TEA party successfully primaries Lindsay and Mitch. Seriously. I’d bet on it.

He will say the GOP has become too extreme and he is siding with the moderate dems to save the country from the extremist right wingers.
