...lost his children.

Horrors. As a father of six (living), I can hardly imagine such a thing.

I think all of us who have children felt that horror. The community had already jump-started coming together before we got word that the 11 yr old had passed, and then the news was completely heart rending when the daughter died. The 14 yr old is in hospital at Cincinnati, which is a 3 hr. drive from here. That is why Noah is in charge of receiving all the help offered by the communities. I think he has been pretty overwhelmed.

In our case the Lord has offered us the best way to help. You know we have moved out of our big house. We had left most of the furniture there just waiting for the auctioneer to pick it up when the weather broke. The Lord works in mysterious ways. My friend (whose wedding I officiated) is a real estate agent. Ha. She had bought a house and renovated it and was trying to decide what to do with it. Now it is being decorated with donated furniture and all the kitchen, etc "stuff", waiting for the family to move in. It's a beautiful house. She beat me to the offer of a house. Our house needs some work.
