It has been years since I posted anything, but I want this local story to go viral. It's real America we don't hear about that much these days. I hope I'm doing this right.

Kathy, thank you for sending this along. It was so late when it came to my FB I couldn’t stay awake to answer comments on my own thread. I hope that the video will be seen by a lot of people because Noah Smith’s speech to the young people is a winner. Sort of wish that portion of the video could be pulled out for it’s own You Tube video.
Thank you JJ for passing this on to others.
In our case the Lord has offered us the best way to help. You know we have moved out of our big house. We had left most of the furniture there just waiting for the auctioneer to pick it up when the weather broke. The Lord works in mysterious ways. My friend (whose wedding I officiated) is a real estate agent. Ha. She had bought a house and renovated it and was trying to decide what to do with it. Now it is being decorated with donated furniture and all the kitchen, etc "stuff", waiting for the family to move in. It's a beautiful house. She beat me to the offer of a house. Our house needs some work.
That’s why I wanted to post it Red. Hope is does act as a reminder of life in “flyover” country.
yes they have tx.
Hey! I didn’t know there was another Freeper that close. We may even know each other. Your name isn’t Chris is it? I only ask because Chris is one angry white man. :o)
Thanks for the ping When.
Yes, it should be that way LUV.
If you saw Noah’s speech BB, then you saw the important part.
Sending Prayers for this Dear Family, with All my Heart.
Hi Kitty,
If you don’t have time to watch all of it, just watch through Noah’s speech. That’s the beautiful part of the video. He nailed it. Wish more people could heed his call. Wish I had time to visit with all the folks at Amy’s Place. My life is just so overwhelmed right now. We moved from our beg ten room house into a small apt. We did it because trying to keep that big old house and yard just got to be too much for me physically. It was time to downsize. I guess turning 80 made me realize that I needed to get things “in order”.
It’s not yet in order. There is still tons of “stuff” in the house. It hasn’t sold because people don’t even look at house in the winter. Come spring all that stuff has to go one way or the other. I am donating a lot of it to the Smith family, but the weather has kept us from moving it. Crazy weather here. Snow and cold. Not good for us to venture out.
On top of all that, I am still keeping granddaughter, Avery. She will turn 3 in March. My “sitting” (ha) should be mostly over when school is out (Her Mom is a teacher). Then she will go to pre-school in the fall. I will miss the little tornado, but I will be relieved. I keep repeating, “I’m too old to be a grandma”, especially for a hyper toddler. Whew....
Love & Hugs dear one.
Nan
Things are Well Here, with the Exception of my Back Problems. My Husband and our Families are All Well, for which I'm So Thankful. My Husband's Work Place is Slowly Shutting Down, so he is Going to be Retired Soon, but it is Time. As we Shift into this New Phase of our Lives, our Lord be with us Each Step of the Way.
Your Granddaughter Avery Sounds So Sweet! God Bless her and Keep her, through His Most Wonderful Love.
(((((Many Hugs, my Dear Sister in Christ)))))
