Seriously, he’s lucky they didn’t shoot his dog, and he’s lucky they didn’t give him a forced enema. All in all, they exercised restraint.
And the cops went home safe at the end of their shift which is the important thing.

Has anyone ever been issued a ticket for jaywalking in NYC? I thought the natural state of things is to cross when you thought it was safe. This is the only libertarian position New Yorkers on the whole embrace.
