Megalast Ball
Our big idea with the Megalast Ball is that its made in the USA with innovative, tough Megalastomer, our TPR, Thermo Plastic Rubber.
Go to a pet supply store and pick up a couple. Best targets I've found. They ought to make car bumpers out of this stuff.
I’m using something similar. It’s mounted on a heavy metal cup and it keeps itself upright after each shot. Just throw it out in the dirt and shoot. So far it’s been self healing too.
Do not taunt Megalast Ball.
Thanks so much for the tip!

How big is it?
These pitching machine balls work great 1- and they’re cheap too!

There are 2 sizes
The large is 3.5’ in diameter. A good size for 25-40 yards.
that looks very interesting
are they sold in any retail stores?
Wouldn’t a three and a half foot target be good for a few more yards than that? :=)
Good idea, thanks for the tip. If a dog can’t chew it up it has to be tough.
oops, inches /grin
I buy them at Academy Sports. I would think that any sporting goods store that sells pitching machines would have them. So far, have only used .22LR and 9mm on them and it hardly damages them at all. Made with some kind of polyurethane I think.
I found them on Amazon. Price was good, but sold in lots of 12.
Looks like Academy Sports is only in Tenn.
I’ll check next time I go into the city. Something bigger than what I’m using would be nice for the handguns.
Yes. I also have a set of those, but they’re a little pricey at $25 each. Seems like every related to shooting is expensive.
Ain’t that the truth.
Obsessed with size, are we?....:-)
