In pursuit of a dangerous black male killer, Los Angeles Police Department officers mistook two Latina woman for the suspect and fired one hundred shots.
Then, Torrance Officer Brian McGee thought he saw the suspects vehicle and rammed into it at full speed, nearly killing the innocent driver, David Perdue, a white man. McGee also fired three shots at Perdue.
But L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey has decided not to press charges against McGee, since his error was a reasonable mistake.

So, the only way to protect yourself is to hide during this kind of manhunt.
a reasonable mistake.
That should be qualified: “A reasonable mistake ... as defined by the mentally deficient LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck”.
No pensions, no bennies, no immunity, no unions, 130+ IQ, 4 years of college including criminal/constitutional studies. Triple the pay. And poof... majority of problems go away.
Boston west, basically.
And in Boston as they rolled down the city streets, then under Martial Law, they were screaming, “Don’t look out your windows..!” over and over, hundreds of times.
They construed LOOKING AT THEM as a hostile act.
Apparently better at aiming a car than a gun.
Perdue is lucky he doesn’t look like a dog.
incredible panic
In dealing with the government, the following rules apply:
You screw up, you pay
The government screws up, you pay
You lie to the government, you go to jail
The government lies to you, everyday, all the time.
The claims that “cops get their blood up” during a hunt for a cop-killer is roughly the same excuse that looters use during a power outage. It’s for the exact same reason: an excuse to cut loose and run wild.
The only thing that I wouldn’t believe would be the cops getting away with shooting Democratic elected officials.
Triple the pay and 1/3 the head count.
you can’t expect perfection from storm troopers whose specialty is killing dangerous cocker spaniels.
I noticed back in the 90s that American cops were morphing into jack-booted thugs.
Definitely fewer cops required, not sure to 1/3. A lot of money would be saved in tossing the pensions.
The above photo has been Photoshopped by somebody for the police department and for press release, in order to SMUDGE and MAKE LESS VISIBLE:
all the bullet holes in the right side of that truck's window.
An earlier version of that photo, *not* Photoshopped:
You can actually see in the un-re-touched, second photograph, that it's easier to observe THE POLICE OFFICERS CARE-LESS-NESS AND CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE AS THEY TRIED TO KILL EVERYBODY IN THAT TRUCK!
The police were not just trying to kill Dorner, the perp, rather, the police were gunning to shoot almost anybody!
The police involved, should be dismissed without pay, no benefits, and charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER.
My neighbor and I share an outdoor stairway. My neighbor had called the cops because an unattended 5 year old was wandering the apartment complex.
For some strange reason, I had chosen the same moment to take Lynn-Dah-The-Dawg (a black female lab) out for her walk. As I started down the stairs, an officer in FULL RIOT GEAR was coming up!
Then the strangest thing happened...I placed myself between the cop and my dog and boldly asked, “May I help you?”
“”Other Apartment” he grumbled, and I let him pass.
He might have shot me, and probably would have gotten away with it.
130+ IQ?!? The IQ AVERAGE is 100. Above average is 115-120. Over 130 and you’re MENSA-grade intelligent. That’s less than 3% of the population of the world.
“He might have shot me, and probably would have gotten away with it.”
Why on earth would he shoot you?
