I’ve never been in a gun store where the guns in the display case are loaded.

Same here, only the Staff at every one I've been in (and Pawn Shops/Liquor/Jewelry Stores).

What always gets Me is the number of times I've see store Staff get a firearm from the case and not even check to make sure it is clear before waving it past somebody on the way to handing it over to a customer.

I've hit the floor more than once! Got up and walked out and never went back.
