Trace, the Schipperke watch dog here, will not molest the chickens unless he spots a particular item of leftover on the drive way, and even then he drives them away from it rather gingerly until he determines if it is worthy of his attention.

The two times a cat came through our wire, he was all over them.

Squirrels get his attention, too.

Foxes can’t stand him.

Surprised the Belgian malinois did not make the list, given their high prey drive.

None of German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County's malinois will tolerate cats.
