Yes, very cool. Mixed feelings.

If he can monitor his glucose levels minute by minute on his i phone, so can big brother. Or someone who wants to hack the it and display the wrong info to cause someone harm. And with GPS technology, forget about any shred of privacy. Every other day i phones get hacked, and now not just your location, photos, names and addresses, people you call/email/facebook but with your most personal info: your DNA and health stats. Not paranoia, these are the facts.

Double edged sword.

Doug, that is potentially awesome. I am a type I diabetic and would love to be able to test my blood sugar noninvasively whenever I want. Unfortunately, they didn’t mention the app that does that.
