I drove to the vets about 7 mi away and saw no fewer than 5 snow plows staged at various points. They’re on top of this one.
It’s election year here and our mayor does not let the plows out. We have not been plowed out in our neighborhood in a timely manner yet. There is a young woman running against him, she will get my vote. Can’t be any worse than this.
In addition, one of our daytime medics left for a better job....the mayor is playing games with the squad. We need to start the hiring process and he wants a study done. RME Lives are at stake and he wants to save money.

Gorgeous!! Great win over Pitt on Sat(i have to root against my team) Gtown is deliciously irrelevant, falling to Marquette. Creighton beat Villanova by 40 pts and that little p!$$antAaron Craft’s OSU team got beaten (OSU beat SU in eastern regionals 2 yrs ago when we went up to boston fir them). Since the caps are sucking so horrifically, I have to get enjoyment from college bball.

Flurries and styro snow here but the worst part is the wind that cuts right through you and drives the pellets into your face. Only the diehards at the park today but I timed it to go into the wind starting and have it at my back coming home.
The weather has been so gorgeous here lately I hadn’t even seen a forecast - apparently Global Warming is coming back toward us again with a few nights below 32. I have to go put a pillowcase over my flower pots on the porch
Our winter has been mild also. I have appt for a massage today that I’m going to keep no matter what! I gave Paula a gift cert for a massage with my lafy for Christmas. She used it in Friday and said it was the best she’s ever had. Bonus is she’s a Pittsburgher and a pollack, so we talk recipes etc throughout. Xs hubs back has been bothering him so he’s going to her later today as well. I need to tell her that he’d rather NOT chat, lol!
It isn’t going to be as frigid here as it was in the wake of the last Siberian express, and I’m grateful for that...
