During a post-game sideline interview with Fox Sports Erin Andrews, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman went off on San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree while giving himself some high praise:
Video at Link.
LOL! If that's all you saw then you missed a bunch.
I don't understand what the link to Kaepernick is for. Who is talking about him? I didn't see him trash talk anyone or get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
My issue is the incivility of Sherman acting like he's 13 years old. Giving him a pass for it just because he made a good play to help win the game does not excuse his behavior. Plenty of other players have made big plays to win the game and they didn't go off like an immature teenager. He's helping to turn the NFL into a thugs-only (players and fans) game.
That's true. I change my "thug" to "loudmouth".
I still think the trash talk belongs on the field, not in an interview.
Yes the church that supports abortion, gay marriage and the removal of God/Christ from classroom /public square
I'm sure his mother drinks the blood of newborns too.. So what? We live in a fallen world. The NFL, along with others in the sports industry, is saturated with secularist, leftist, G-d hating people and yet millions of people still watch the game, buy the merchandise, etc. If you want better quality people, get the fans to stop supporting the Sports establishment.
You’re confused. Read posts 9 and 17, perhaps that will clear things up for you. If not, then I’m not sure I can help you.
ROFLMAO.....Dunno if that will bring out the rabid Stoolers fans, but it did in the past when I pointed out how the refs threw the game for Bettis.
Ahh, but I don’t want or need your help. Try someone else.
Somehow I don’t think you’d find defenders of thuggish behaviour here or anywhere had the Seahawks lost the game. Yeah, Richie Incognito is a nice intelligent guy too!
Your lack of reading comprehension isn’t my problem.
It wouldn't be Super Bowl without a little hype & drama.
I hearya on what we don’t hear,, btw, did you see the zit on Russell’s face in an after game interview? First thing my wife noticed. Get some Proactiv to him. ;-)
You’d think somebody on the 9ers would have popped it for him.
How many times did he get sacked.? And now with Aldon smith facing hard time potentially,, ouch.
NASCAR has enough zit faced drivers these days to fill two NFL teams and play about as well. At least we don’t have refs in nascar as it were. Altho temporary blindness still happens.. Onto The Snow me over Bowl
I already answered your #17. Maybe it's you that lacks reading comprehension.
Also, from what I see, you will excuse any behavior as long it wins the big game for you. Sounds like the liberals Dems screed: "The ends justify the means".
Give us back the name ‘football’! Since this “sport” isn’t played with foots but with thugs, let us call it Thugball!
I grew up in the Bay Area, but live in the People’s Soviet of Washington, so it was a weird game for me to watch.
Living here, the one thing I was really worried about is the mania around the Hawks here. Had they lost, you’d have seen suicides, and I’m not joking.
There’s an old movie called The Wave, that reminds me a lot of what I’ve seen here lately.
Anyway, Manning’s not terribly mobile, and they don’t have a very effective ground game. It will be interesting to see what a pocket passer (like Brees) will end up doing against the Seattle D.
Kaepernick was incredible on the ground, but they shut down Gore, who I thought would go for 100 yards or more, as he’s wont to do against Seattle.
If Denver’s D really is ranked 19th in the league, Seattle’s O may actually get something done. There are still some very real things wrong on offense in Seattle.
They will get Harvin back, and he’s really that good, so we’ll see what happens. Lynch is as good as advertised, and the Seattle O-line has played admirably though they have been down to second and third stringers throughout the season.
I didn’t think the Hawks had a shot against Pittsburgh in 2005, but I think they’ve got a legitimate shot this year.
Seattle got ZERO sacks yesterday. That stat’s got to change if they are going to win. Again, Manning’s a pocket guy, so they don’t have to worry about him squirting off the end in a read-option, etc.
Big deal. Heard more trash talk at a wrestling match.
If 0 bummer had a son, he’d look and act just like the thug Richard Sherman.
Oh wait, bummer said he wouldn’t let his son play football. Never mind.
