Dennis Rodman has checked into an undisclosed alcohol rehabilitation center to treat his long-time struggle with alcoholism, his agent says.
Darren Prince declined on Saturday to say which facility will treat Rodman and how long he will be there. Rodman recently returned to the United States from his latest trip to North Korea.

Apparently Rodman considered suicide after a girlfriend broke up with him when he was with the Pistons. He went to the SAS with the idea that he was just going to do whatever made him happy.
He’s a nutcase, but he was a rebounding machine....

Was it here that I once read that there is a rehab center in the L.A. area (where else?) (or more than one like it!) where you are driven up to the door of a nice, elegant modern clinic, the paparazzi are waiting outside, get out of the limo which drives off, walk inside, go to the reception desk, take care of the formalities, payments, etc, jeez, it takes so damn long, finally are able to start walking that long corridor straight toward the back door exit, open it, go out, through the nice manicured garden to the circular driveway, where your chauffeur is waiting, engine running, the Eagles playing on the cassette tape deck inside, no paparazzis are allowed anywhere near, get in that limo and ride off to party down as ever before!

And isn’t it interesting that the co-founder of AA made the decision that they should stay anonymous because of a professional baseball player. He went around telling how AA had saved his life then got drunk. Lots of people were then saying “AA doesn’t work.”
