Yes it is late, but it is never “too late”.
Bring back US manufacturing.
America needs to compete. Not send industry to China and elsewhere.
We need to made things right here.
How we do that is open to discussion, but we need to make things right here in America.
A lot of things.
Stop buying everything from China.
Remember at one of the latest Olympic Games when liberal Americans frowned on Americans cheering "USA, USA, USA"?
True, we need to compete but I don't think we have it in us to win such a battle. Not only are we infested with America-Hating liberals who control most of our government even when republicans are the majority party but we are now flooded with foreign nationals who put their own nation number one when cheering for the games or shopping for brands. Heck, for the foreign nationals, USA does not even come in second at the shopping center. They even cheer China's rise.
Unfortunately, foreign nationals who live in the USA (such as Mexicans...etc) do not see China as foe like we do. They just don't. You do, I do but we've become the minority and the majority leadership in DC likes it that way.

I guess it is about 20 years too late.
Not only a retail business won’t ever comply in evicting Chinese goods, the vast majority of customerswon’t ever like an idea to pay 10 times more for non-Chinese toothvrush and things like that.
A plenty of cheap Chinese crap is that replaced American dream for them.
