>>>Yes it is late, but it is never “too late”.

Bring back US manufacturing.

America needs to compete. Not send industry to China and elsewhere.<<<

I guess it is about 20 years too late.

Not only a retail business won’t ever comply in evicting Chinese goods, the vast majority of customerswon’t ever like an idea to pay 10 times more for non-Chinese toothvrush and things like that.
A plenty of cheap Chinese crap is that replaced American dream for them.

See I’m not sure there is an unlimited amount of welcome to imports.

China does not allow foreigners to own Chinese land.

This is an increasing issue. China wants to sell us cheap goods and then buy American land. But Americans cannot purchase Chinese land.

Same with Chinese companies. Sure America can buy things which are made in China, but they have to buy them from a company which is majority-owned by Chinese.

Again. No such law, applies to America.

I say no. China is not the same as America, and the sooner we stop treating China like another America, the better off we will all be.

Bring back American jobs.

Stop selling out America.

Now.

All Chinese goods have to come in through US ports-of-entry which could be shut down by the US gov't tomorrow at dawn if they really wanted to. Few if any are expensive enough to bother smuggling in, and would probably cost more than US goods after the smugglers took their cut.

American made toothbrushes would not cost 10X more. We're being sold down the river for ridiculously small markups. Less than 10% per unit cost in some cases.
