I would love to have a litter of kittens to play with again. (My family raised Persians years ago.) But I think my five cranky old cats would not appreciate it!

...remember when I had my cat “fixed”...when I got him home and I got a close look at him, he looked like the feline version of Marty Feldman...eyes going all ways. I couldn’t stop laughing. Then of course he walked around for the next couple of days like a 1949 raked Merc.

Kittens turn into Cats. Puppies turn into Dogs. I have a Cat and a Dog. I love them both. But if I could have only one animal it would be a Dog because the Dog loves me back.

I had a litter in the house a couple years ago, after the tortoiseshell cat that had been living in our yard since probably before we moved into our house decided she wanted to move in with us. They were quite a bit of work, but it was fun too. We kept one of the kittens (she’s now 22 months old) and gave the other three to friends of ours.

Both our kitties, Abby and Jenna, were rescued. Abby was rescued from the clutches of the Ewell Gibbons neighbor who I suspected wanted to eat her. Jenna was found in an alley where Mrs. henkster works, and brought home just days before a terrible blizzard.
