Its slightly skewing my attitude about this thing. You realize he and his wife were on a date. Their two year old was with the babysitter. The movie hadn't started yet and he was texting with the babysitter. I'm not sure anything has been reported that suggests "the deceaced was a royal prick."
My opinion? Your assumption is not based on a reasonable review of the reports.

When I first read this story, I got the same impression cuban leaf did.
However, that power tripping ex-cop wasn’t right in his actions either. None of this had to happen, a simple thing turned deadly because of attitudes.

Stepping out to the lobby to deal with texting "emergencies" (by definition) is not an unreasonable expectation.
