Are all first responers trained to act on emotion and adrenaline? Is triage training going to far? Is respect for life training missing? I don’t get it. I don’t run over dead animal’s if i can possibly avoid it. Why? Because i have a soul. The firefighters seem to be pleading they thought she was dead so they ran over her. Damn. That’s heartless. Especially since doing the job and doing it right did NOT demand rolling over dead, dying teenagers. I just can’t fathom the mind set and culture that would even venture this excuse.

This IS the same area where how many first responders stood around for an hour watching someone drown by standing in the surf until the tide came in, because “they weren’t trained in water rescue”.
