I'm betting the shooter was the cell phone user who felt "disrespected," if you know what I mean.
Of course, I'm never wrong, so maybe this could be a first.
I'll bet you are correct.
And what is with the "disrespected me" crap? Last I heard, respect is something that must be earned. Not given to placate an arrogant, loudmouthed racist to keep him from shooting you.
I think we're all thinking the same thing.
Just the opposite. It was two middle aged couples, and the guy in front was texting during previews. The guy behind asked him to stop and he wouldn’t, so the guy shot him. At least that’s what Fox is reporting.
I do know what you mean, however I propose a slightly different scenario based on the fact that the companion was shot as well. I bet the deceased or his companion was on his/her cell phone at which point the shooter took umbrige, and was most likely impolite about it. Upon being called out the cell phone user and companion became agressive towards the couple that wanted them to behave in the theater. Facing two agressive people caused the shooter to fear for his saftey (or at least have a plausible arguement), thus the shooting of both. This also may explain the shooter being detained by other unarmed patrons.
I think we're all thinking the same thing.
Looks like we were both wrong. Shooter was a retired cop. Victim was the cell phone user.
