This past week: The Newtown school district will receive an additional $1.9 million to aid its recovery from the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the federal government announced Monday.
Thank you taxpayers.
They are getting the school replaced by the state. If my town decided to replace a perfectly good school, our property taxes would dramatically increase.
To be honest, I am not entirely sure what the purpose of these donations are? Are they just going to give the families of the deceased children a wad of cash?
