Intended? Perhaps.
Successful? I don’t think so.

I still call Obamacare a “train wreck” because most people will look at you like you are crazy when you try to tell them that Obama wants the country to fail.

There are 2 major political parties in America. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cowardly one. I’m a Republican.

Wayne Allyn Root, you lose me right there.

You were the Libertarian Party Vice Presidential candidate in 2008.

Every point he made is true. Now, the Republicans are all lined up to see who can propose the "fix" for Obamacare. That's perfect! Ten years ago, there was NO national healthcare program. Now, we have the abomination called Obamacare, but instead of rolling back to the no-healthcare status, the dimwit Republicans are going to be hoodwinked into rolling it back part way and thinking they've achieved some measure of success.

Success is restoring us to our pre-socialist state, refuting the very ROOT of Obamacare, that the government is somehow obligated or even entitled to provide healthcare.

It's incrementalism -- two steps forward and one step back. Then another two steps and you're where you wanted to be to begin with. It just took a little longer to get there.

To paraphrase PJ O'Rourke, Democrats sell you socialism by the bottle; Republicans sell it by the drink.

>> It’s not a “trainwreck,” Obamacare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.

Yep, and the damage is irreparable at this point. It will up to a future generation who was born into communist poverty to rise up and restore freedom.

The GOP is so stupid they can’t see it. There are no mistakes here. This is a planned purposeful attack.

The GOPe isn't that stupid and they can see it. Yes, this is a planned purposeful attack and the GOPe is a willing collaborator. Traitors all...............

Actually there was a national healthcare system. Medicare has been in place since ‘65 and we’re all paying into it.

It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success. It’s not a “trainwreck,” Obamacare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.

Columns like this one need to get into the major media and they never do. The Left’s iron lock on the MSM is worth a fortune and legions of campaign workers.

Yes he was.

He should have been the GOP Presidential nominee. He ran. The fact Mr. Root wasn’t nominated and McCain was points to the cowardice, stupidity and naïveté of the GOP’s progressive/statist leadership, as well as reflecting quite poorly on the primary voters’ motivations.

The greatest dangers to the USA are not crossing the southern border, not a rising China, and not 50 generation inbred moon god worshippers; but thrive within our national and state capitols, nourish themselves in our media and unaccountable bureaucracies, enforce themselves behind badges “for public safety”, and are germinated within us at taxpayer expense in the public schools.

We now have 110 million people employed in private enterprise, and 88 million people on the dole or some sort of government employee.

There isn’t even a mention of going back to zero based budgeting at the federal level, while crap like Ryan/Murray passes with flying colors.

Lots of gas bagging about balancing the budget, but don’t touch Social Security, Medicare part D, Federal pensions, military retirement, military bases, government employees, welfare, SNAP, section 8, heating assistance, etc. Hardly anyone wants to face the facts that WE CANT AFFORD ANY OF THIS CRAP.

Please fellow freepers, stop looking for courage and wisdom to spring forth from the collective cowardice, avarice and ignorance of the American voters. Things are unlikely to change until we hit the wall, and things may get even worse afterwards.

Yep.

The money quote;

"The GOP needs to stop calling Obamacare a “trainwreck.” That means it’s a mistake, or accident. That means it’s a gigantic flop, or failure. It’s NOT. This is a brilliant, cynical, and purposeful attempt to damage the U.S. economy, kill jobs, and bring down capitalism. It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success. It’s not a “trainwreck,” Obamacare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.

Of course, this was exactly what Mao, Stalin, Castro, the NK leaders, and so on did. Unfortunately, not a single one of them actually figured out the “rebuilding” part after doing the destroying.

It’s not just the GOP-e that is fraudulent; it’s the uninformed GOP primary voters.
