I didn't eat enough store-bought eggs last year. I like to start my tobacco in egg cartons, and I'm short this year. I may have some stored out in the shop, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I have thought about using egg cartons, but never save any up.

I have about 5 or 6 jiffy starting trays that I bought a bunch of years ago and usually use them. This year I am only going to start about 35 seeds, so I bought a box of 5oz Dixie cups to use. They will have a little more soil around them than in the trays, less root bound at 6 weeks.

I do not have a plan yet for growing any hot peppers, but may grow some for kicks. I thought about a Texas prepper green house just for peppers, where I can raise them up to a height that I can reach, rather than ground level.
As I age, the ground just gets farther away. I need a raised bed, raised about 24”-30”
