It’s the perfectionist in me rearing it’s ugly head, I know, but how does someone not notice that one coat sleeve is tucked inside their glove and the other is hanging down over their hand? And it’s in photo after photo.
It’s actually a coat cuff, one is turned up and the other is turned down.
It might be the protocol calls for sleeve rolled up on purse-carrying arm. I suspect under the circumstances they went all out to replicate period style.
It looks like the far coat sleeve has become uncuffed. The near coat sleeve is cuffed. The coat is quite lovely. Love the tailoring and the details.

Hate to say it but out here in cowboy country they would tell you that the sleeveless arm is the one they use to check the (potentially) mama cows...lol
