Take the journey with me here.

He won NJ, twice. The second time he increased his minority margins.

Explain a Dem path to the White House without NJ.

Assuming that he turns NJ red in the general election, and wins every state that Romney won in 2012, he would still have to turn some more states that obama won back to red. And that hinges on the very big assumption that red state voters in the south and midwest decide to come out and vote for the third straight Rovian candidate from the Rockefeller/Kennedy wing of the big government side of the GOP. I’m glad you have a lot of confidence in him, and maybe you’ve seen something from a guy who managed to win twice in one of the most liberal high-tax big government states in the union to justify that confidence. I’m just not convinced that the GOP needs to pin its hopes on candidates from states that routinely elect dems for both their senate seats and a majority of their house seats and for most of their state legislative seats. Sounds to me like a recipe for a democrat lite party and not a limited government return to the constitution republican party.
