Yes, hubby told me a story the other day - he was driving out west with some other fellows and they got stopped for inspection. They thought they’d gone the wrong way and were headed into Mexico, but it was just an “agricultural inspection” - so that was between 2 US states.

We had an Asian beetle get into California that has been killing a huge amount of trees leaving them dead and burning areas during droughts. So yes, the issue of species getting into our country is a big one, but most of these kids come in through shipping containers overseas or air, not by any of us in a car.
