Woman Sank Her Teeth Into Car ‘Like James Bond Villain Jaws’ During Drunken Rage

A young woman was likened to the James Bond villain Jaws after she sank her teeth into a car during a roadside argument with three strangers.

Rhian Jeremiah left teeth marks in the bodywork of a Fiat 500 when she bit the car roof, making a ‘crunching’ sound as she pierced the metal.

The car’s owner said she looked up through the sun roof to see drunk Jeremiah, 26, biting the frame above the door.

Prosecutor Gerald Neave said: ‘They were parked outside a takeaway restaurant when Jeremiah arrived and tried to wrench open the passenger door.

‘She sank her teeth into the car’s frame between the roof and the door.

‘The occupants could hear a loud screeching noise as she bit down on the roof.’

Magistrates heard Jeremiah had been drinking at a memorial night for her late boyfriend Simon Jones who drowned off the coast of Aberystwyth, west Wales.

David Folland, defending, told the court the incident was ‘not quite like’ the scene involving the character Jaws in a James Bond film.

He said: ‘My client was the worse for drink that night. She was clearly upset.’

Jeremiah, of Cardigan, West Wales, denied causing £220 criminal damage to the car but was found guilty.

She admitted assaulting two police officers who were called to arrest her for biting the car.

Jobless Jeremiah was given a 12-month community order and told to attend 20 alcohol abuse help sessions.

Ie seen a few of those Fiat 500’s and frankly I havent been that impressed.

If human teeth can penetrate a body panel....somehow I dont think’d Id feel safe inside one.
