When asked, I simply reply MY top 3 are “Achilles Last Stand, Ten Years Gone (which has 13 different Guitar parts BTW) and The Rover”.

"I actually like zep. I am trying to mix a little reality and balance with the mindless worship." Oh, so you are here to rain on our parade. Thought so.
I have never listened to Milli Vanilli.
Okay, then...go find a Garth Brooks, or Hannah Montana thread, or whatever music you're into, and let us rockers and real Zeppelin fans have some fun discussing our favorite band, okey-dokey?

"Rain Song, Ramble On, No Quarter, Babe Im Gonna Leave You, and Going to California would be my favorites...today." Hehehehe...I know what you mean. Right now, as we speak, at this very moment, I'm really digging The Ocean. But that'll change when a different Zeppelin track comes up on the mp3 player.

I don’t want to rain on your parade. Enjoy your fun.

Yeah. Maybe. I was one of the degenerate rock n rollers that caused them to move the festival to NYC. I still don't have much use for modern jazz. But hey, that's just me.
I have no kick against modern jazz
Unless they try to play it too darn fast
And change the beauty of the melody
Until they sound just like a symphony
That's why I go for that Rock ‘n’ Roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lose it
Any old time you use it
It's gotta be Rock Roll music
If you wanna dance with me
If you wanna dance with me

Is it just me or is Jimmy Page turning into an old Japanese man?

I do find it somewhat ironic that the guy who once sang, “...and I’ll never go to Texas anymore...” on “Hot Dog”, now lives in Austin.

I came across a Boston rock radio station's top 1000 songs countdown which concluded this past new year's eve. Zeppelin had nearly 40 songs in the countdown. Not bad. Oddly, Heart's version of Stairway to Heaven was the top song. I like this version.

I realized that Heart’s ‘Barracuda” is a slight rip-off of “Achilles Last Stand”.

Was it you or someone else who showed him handing out candy at a recent Halloween while in Austin?

That's a fascinating video clip.
As far as I know, "Mama Don't Allow It," the tune that the band was playing, was first recorded by Washboard Sam & His Washboard Band in 1935. You can listen to it here.

At about the 2 minute mark of nobodys fault but mine, witness the greatest harmonica-drums-guitar-bass jam of all time. The wanton song and when the levee breaks- they just dont write em like that anymore. All favorites of mine, too. I guess "The Wanton Song" is one of Page's favorites. It's punishing. My other favorite from that album is "In My Time of Dying."

Page talks about this one in the “It Might Get Loud” video.
here was this house that had a hallway off the entry and he said the drums were spectacular there, the best drum recording he ever heard!

I saw Plant this past summer in concert. He can still entertain. Some of the Zepp material was given a different flavor but it was an enjoyable show.
