I was never that big of a Zeppelin fan until later in life. I’m really partial to the Physical Graffiti collection. “In the Light” is still one of my favorites.

I actually like zep. I am trying to mix a little reality and balance with the mindless worship.
I have never listened to Milli Vanilli.

I had a teenage crush on a next door neighbor years ago. She was a cutie. One night, I parked my old LeMans and from the house next door I could hear “In the Light” cranked. That was 30 years ago and I maintain a great memory from my youth.

I don’t know. They have a lot of great ones. That wasn’t my point of contention. Saying they had just “a few good songs” is nutty.
To: needmorePaine
I probably should have said some good songs and a few great ones.

When the Levee Breaks ..Bonhams drum groove at the beginning sets the tone for the entire song just great stuff .........

I tend to agree with you. They had a handful of great songs. Not 50. Saw Zepplin live in 1977 btw. Was a really good show.

“Since I’ve Been Loving You” at number six - glad it made the top 10- always thought LZ III was their best album by far.

the wife likes most of it but cant handle the 1940s swing music...I remember Dave Brubeck at Newport doing "Take 5" which I think was the lead in to LZ.

Black Dog still brings memories of smoky basement parties after the high school football games :) Strawberry Hill wine and Steve Penberthy puking up spaghetti on my shoes.
Ahhhh.....good times!

I came across a Boston rock radio station's top 1000 songs countdown which concluded this past new year's eve. Zeppelin had nearly 40 songs in the countdown. Not bad. Oddly, Heart's version of “Stairway to Heaven” was the top song. My guess is the Zepp version was the true #1 and the station opted for something different.

Good Times Bad Times You mean they recorded more music? I liked the first song on the first album so much I almost never listened to anything else.
