Reminds me of the song Chestnut Mare, by The Byrds, “I’m going to catch that horse cause I can, and when I do I’ll give her my brand, and we’ll be friends for life, she’ll be just like a wife, I’m going to catch that horse cause I can”

Nicely done, albeit the horses are trained. Crappy trailer.

Used to take me three days and 2 hired cowboys to catch old Spot. Once caught he would easily load. Half Arab and half Oregon Desert Mustang. Colored like a Belgian with white hooves the farriers cussed. Wildest horse I ever owned, we came in 30 minutes ahead of 2nd place in an endurance ride in Missouri. It was a lesson in how to make 23 other horse people really mad. It was only a 15 miler. I turned around twice. The first time I saw two horses about a mile back, the 2nd time I saw no one.

Would anyone care to bet that he feeds them grain in that trailer on a regular basis?

Do you load a horse with a 105 mm shell from the breech?

That was excellent, and reminds me of the things I miss about Northern California.

There were times with my old feller that a two-by-four between the eyes and a meat hoist were awfully tempting...

A coworker years ago lost an eye loading his horse. A harness lead whipped back and hit him.

These kiwi horses responding to a couple of cracks of the bullwhip causes me to wonder how familiar with that whip they had to become in the past.

Wonderful. My daughter bought the Parreli DVDs. She trained her 6 month old guy with his lessons. He’s now 11 years old and is a sweetie.

Yep. We have a thirty year old three horse slant Sooner. Solid as a rock. Our two mares and Gypsy Vanner colt just hop right in, no issues. We do a mix of Buck Branaman and Monty Roberts style training.
