One of the few things the Euros get right. We have such a hypocritical attitude towards alcohol in this country: the fact that an 18-year-old young man can be handed a gun and told to kill the enemy in hellholes like Afghanistan, yet is treated like a criminal for enjoying a beer in America is utterly ridiculous.
Hell, I've seen conservative freepers have the same double standard. If a politician wants to put a bunch of restrictions on cigarette smoking, he's a RINO scumbag and a "nanny stater". If a politician wants to put a bunch of restrictions on booze, he's only doing it because he's concerned about our kids and trying to make the roads safer.
An 18 year old MAN, IMHO, should enjoy all of the rights of MANHOOD. An 18 year old modern pathetic drone of a public education indoctrinated manchild... not so much. A 13 year old child and alcohol... never.
